Oh, you know that if you use :root, it will eg. override html/body backgrounds ??

:root only works in Explorer Mac, Mozilla and Safari, so I don't see the point. Why not just redefine the html tag?

Microsoft transitions only works in IE, why do pp still use it ?? 
You can us it with some padding, and have multiple backgrounds

I don't use Microsoft transitions. I do color scrollbars, but I like everything else to look the same in all browsers. Well, I admit that I did put -moz-border-radius in places at thestarscoop.com... Ok, fine. Use :root to add multiple backgrounds, but when I put in multiple backgrounds, I'm going to make it work in all browsers.
