posticon Firefox addon to validate HTML

Thanks to 1lost1 for bringing this to my attention. It works well for validating HTML, and it's only a 22kb download.

Total Validator (for HTML)

After installing, just right-click on the page you want to validate, and choose the validator. The results will come up in a new tab or window. emoticon

This only works with Firefox, thus "Firefox Addon." If you don't already have Firefox, you can download it here.

Since Total Validator only validates HTML, here is a site where you can validate your CSS:

W3C CSS Validator

Just copy everything from your CSS and paste it into that big box, and it'll point out most of your errors so you can fix them. emoticon

Re: Firefox addon to validate HTML

I use the web developer tool from Firefox

It validates CSS, Feeds, HTML, Links, Section 508 and WAI.

The CSS and HTML links you directly to the WC3 validation pages emoticon
