Hi Scott,
You're no trouble at all. Sometimes it helps to have a kick in the butt.
I'm glad you like the new features, and thank you for saying so. I can't get over all the changes we've made (see my old profile), and we still have a lot more to do.
I checked into Postimage, and discovered that they advertise another message board provider exclusively, so I started looking around for other options. I haven't had any luck so far, but there has to be one out there somewhere. When I find it, I'll do my best to get it implemented.
Hi there Lesa
Many thanks for your reply and also for taking time out to look into implementing this option as its very much appreciated
I didnt realise that postimage exclusively advertises another message board provider and guessing then thats why none of the available codes were suitable for runboards AkBBS 0.9.5b
Its a pity the likes of photobucket or imageshack doesnt offer the same service, although imageshack do have the upload option box which does open a direct window to select a file from pc but it just re-directs back to their site upon upload
So no worries Lesa, and this was more of a handy luxury than anything essential and im sure another hosting site will come along sooner or later that fits the bill.
Saying all that, whilst trying in vain to get the postimage to work a few weeks back i did come across a couple more sites which had similar options to what postimage offered, so whether or not they are of any use or suitable ive no idea, and my knowledge of coding is virtually null and void anyways which was confirmed by my 6 day escapade trying to make the postimage option work.
[it did bring me to the conclusion though that,
'If at first you dont succeed,.............sod it,
give up and ask someone else who knows what they are doing instead. ]
Here are the two sites i found,
Zwixy
Turbo Image
Although certainly no rush in checking these out and just a couple more sites to bookmark for future reference as i appreciate how busy you are at the moment.
So many thanks again for all your help and good luck with the new profile options
All the best
Scott

Re: Uploading images directly from the board.
Lesa,
I'm sorry to hear that it's not an option for Runboard. Still I also would like to add my thanks to you and the others at Runboard support for hearing us out and for your help in this effort. Better luck next time I hope.

You're both very welcome. Thank you for those other sites. I'll check them out and see if one of them will work for us.
