Re: The Flavor of the Night Beer's too fattening for me to drink regularly. I didn't drink it before but my taste in food has changed as I've got older. I'm starting to enjoy Whisky now too.
Re: The Flavor of the Night Once a year my wife and I will indulge in a glass of Côtto’s Grande Eschola wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I don't remember what started the tradition but it has been going strong now for over 20 years of our marriage (I don't recall what we asked for before then).
Re: The Flavor of the Night We've always used Asti spumanti (A non-Champagne sparkling white wine) for special occasions. Like recently when our Son proposed to Jess and she said yes. That night for dinner at Olive Garden Hubby ordered a bottle. But we rarely drink anymore.
But back in the day.....when I was a total party animal, my night was filled with straight Jack Daniels Tennessee whiskey(if I was poor)OR Crown Royal blended Canadian whiskey, (if I was celebrating and rich).......no "on the rocks" and only an occasional beer chaser.

Rick, what are you going to do if they stop making Côtto’s Grande Eschola?
I have no idea... don't they keep wine for like decades and decades? This year it was a 1975 bottle that set us back $38 and pushed the meal over $100 for the two of us. Not complaining though as it was our 25th anniversary
Re: The Flavor of the Night I'm with you Rick...the kids engagement dinner was over a $100 too...but those special ones, really do come very rarely and are so very worth it. Next year will be hubby and mine's 35th Anniversary...I'm sure we'll have our Asti.

Re: Been really enjoying Guiness on draft and at home, the draft style cans are pretty close.
Mynephews and I made this music video last weekend. The music is by a YouTuber that goes by the name of Gunarolla. He's known for his "Canadian Please" video. He asked his fans to send him phrases in various languages and then he wrote a song. He did his own video but asked a select group of YouTubers to parody it. This is Jory's entry. I think it's better than Gunarolla's.
