When I did my test, I removed the fixed measurements that are created by that setting, so only the max-width and max-height set in your CSS would apply. It sounded to me like the CSS limitations weren't working for you, so you enabled the fixed size in your miscellaneous settings to compensate for it, but you should be able to un-check that. Nothing has changed on Runboard's end in that respect, so I thought you might have been trying out IE9 beta or something.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Lesigner Girl)Sun, 07 Nov 2010 18:31:48 +0000 Re: Avatar sizeshttps://billusia.runboard.com/p236242,from=rss#post236242https://billusia.runboard.com/p236242,from=rss#post236242Thanks for the prompt reply. Using Firefox myself and for example it is showing Elvis' pic as 150x150 to me as opposed to the dimensions you state. Actually all avatars are rendering 150x150 as I had to apply those numbers to reign in oversized avatars. A few years back we had altered board setting to allow avatars up to 150 pixels in either dimension and had configured the settings to keep the proper aspect ratio for pictures that were not truly square. These settings changed in the past week and no one on my admin team has knowledge of making any changes. Just curious to know if something in the Runboard master settings has changed or if it is just one of my board admin's being messing things up again.nondisclosed_email@example.com (skipster)Sun, 07 Nov 2010 18:26:20 +0000 Re: Avatar sizeshttps://billusia.runboard.com/p236238,from=rss#post236238https://billusia.runboard.com/p236238,from=rss#post236238Hi Skipster, I ran a test on Firefox, Chrome, and IE8 using the code at your board, and everything worked fine (Elvis was reduced to 132x150). What browser are you using?nondisclosed_email@example.com (Lesigner Girl)Sun, 07 Nov 2010 15:51:16 +0000 Avatar sizeshttps://billusia.runboard.com/p236237,from=rss#post236237https://billusia.runboard.com/p236237,from=rss#post236237Lesa,   How you been? Sorry to be back without another problem to throw at you but I have come to notice that recently the avatar sizes at my forum have been tweaked in some fashion, and not be my or any member of my admin team. I'm finding that our previous up to 150 pixels allowed settings are no longer valid and that avatars are now showing at their original size. I have been able to corral them back to 150 pixel maximum but this has resulted in some avatars being stretched and others being out of their proper size ratio. Any hope of a fix to get things back to where they were? Thanks in advance.nondisclosed_email@example.com (skipster)Sun, 07 Nov 2010 15:26:14 +0000
