Im not sure how many boards would have the need for this option but the ones i do moderation duties on have some forums with around two hundred pages and there are other ways of navigating threw them all just like you mentioned but this would certainly make the process that much easier So thankyou once again for your assistance L.G nondisclosed_email@example.com (scarru)Tue, 29 Mar 2011 11:45:26 +0000 Re: Page jumpshttps://billusia.runboard.com/p236969,from=rss#post236969https://billusia.runboard.com/p236969,from=rss#post236969Hi Scott, On the rare occasion that I go to a page that isn't listed, I change the address in the address bar manually, but I realize not everyone will know how to do that, and some people might want to do this more often than I do. When I originally brought the request for a truncated list to Thor's attention, I had suggested a box for people to type in a page number, to cover the pages that aren't listed. Unfortunately, he must have either missed that part, or I didn't explain it clearly enough in my email, or maybe he simply forgot. I'll bring it up to him again, and see what he says about it. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Lesigner Girl)Mon, 28 Mar 2011 15:56:59 +0000 Page jumpshttps://billusia.runboard.com/p236968,from=rss#post236968https://billusia.runboard.com/p236968,from=rss#post236968Hi there L.G I just wanted to quickly enquire if its at all possible to add a 'jump to a selected page' option within a set forum. This is the bit i mean and is displayed at the top of every forum. <span.pageindex> 1 2 <span.pageindexvaluenow> 3 </span> 4 </span> There is a similar function that is used on runsearch to look for certain boards which has boxes to define different categories along with a option of choosing a set page number from the results. The current set up which now displays the page numbers in a truncated format which is better if a forum has a fair few pages within them but it does mean if for example there were 150 pages then only the first two and last couple of page numbers are displayed making it difficult to navigate to say page 75. So was wondering if the page jump option used for the runsearch facility, which i think is the one below, can also be implied some way to the boards page indexed area as well? <form name="jump" class="menu" action="#"> <select name="page" title="Choose Page" onchange="changePage('page',options[selectedIndex].value);"> many thanks Scott nondisclosed_email@example.com (scarru)Sun, 27 Mar 2011 21:33:00 +0000
