Re: Background
You're very welcome, Jewel. Sorry it took me a while to figure out what you were wanting to do.
Yes, to change the image, just change the url in the HTML footer. As long as you keep all the other related code (HTML and CSS) there, the new image will re-size like this one does.

Re: Background
Not if you want it to re-size with the window, unfortunately.

I told you it could be complicated.
Ok, I put it in there, and tested it on FF4, Opera, IE8, and Google Chrome, and it appears to be working properly in all of those browsers.
I removed the CSS we told you to put in initially, and added the following code:
HTML Header:
<div id="container">
HTML Footer:
</div><!-- end container, start fake background -->
<img id="background" src="http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g14/Raymond63/ptr.jpg" alt="" />
<!-- end fake background -->
CSS:
/* Fake background pic. Change the actual pic in the HTML footer. */
#background { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; z-index: 1; }
/* This puts everything in front of the fake background pic */
#container {
position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0;
width: 100%; height: 100%;
z-index: 2; overflow: auto;
}
/* end container */
------------------------------------
If you want to change the image in the future and have it re-size like this one does, just change the image URL (src="....") in your HTML footer.
I did it a bit differently on my Swatch 001 skin. Do you see any problems with my method compared to yours?

Re: Background
It looks ok in Firefox (I only checked in that one), although your way might still work without that extra div around the fake background image.
On an unrelated note, you might want to fix the layout/colors so the board is readable when CSS is disabled. Just copy the "Disable Style Sheets" link in Extra's sidebar if you don't already have it bookmarked.

Re:
I noticed the same "Oh Yuck" look at RSF but not at TRD but they are based on the same default skin Josh created! To double check I created this board and when the style sheet is disabled there is definitely a "Oh Yuck" look to the new default skin. Soooo... Do you want me to fix it and give you the settings in the ELC to pass on to Thor?
