Re: Fred Phelps, excommunicated and on the verge of death. Sorry....I just had to add this. I guess without their illustrious leader the rest of them have no balls!
(sorry....gotta watch an ad first...30 seconds)
Re: Fred Phelps, excommunicated and on the verge of death. The article is even better than the first video on that page. Emphasis mine:
Though WBC reportedly had a permit to picket for half an hour beginning at 2:00 p.m., they stayed for a mere eight minutes before hastily getting into their cars and driving away when Moore residents began to cross the picket lines. Police intervened to separate the protestors and counter-protestors as the WBC rushed to leave.
The Westboro Baptist Church posted a Vine video afterwards which failed to mention their hasty departure:
WBC's video is at Queeny's link, and lasts about 7 seconds.
The article continues:
A video posted by a counter-protestor shows what really happened:
Now that is priceless!
I wonder if they would have run away like that if Shirley had been leading the charge. Don't forget, they voted her out of power right before Fred quit eating and got sick.
Re: Fred Phelps, excommunicated and on the verge of death. Oh MY!! That is even better! Those poor police must have thought....OH !@#$!
I'm telling you.....whether or not they would have stayed, if Shirley was still around, I doubt it....
But I would not mess with the people of Moore OK. Matter of fact, I'm thinking now that the world has seen those Asshats turn tail and run....more and more demonstrations are going to be broken up just like that.
SERIOUSLY....they went there, to get the word out that the massive TORNADO that hit Moore, killing students in the high school was SENT BY GOD, because they teach equality FOR ALL even homosexuals in school. They said those "students" were sinners!!!
Ya know.....I don't believe in GOD....but if there is one, I hope one day he gets sick of them twisting his 'so called' word...and when those people are out protesting, I hope he STRIKES THEM DOWN WITH LIGHTENING BOLTS!
If that were to happen....I might begin to believe, or at least lean towards KARMA even more....

Re: Fred Phelps, excommunicated and on the verge of death. If lightning bolts struck each and every one of the Westboro adults at a gay pride event, and all the Westboro children immediately ran to the most flamboyant gay men and hugged them, then I would have to consider an intelligence causing the lightning in that case, and would probably ask the coroner to check their bodies for something that could attract artificial lightning. If a thorough investigation was conducted and we could rule out any kind of technology as the cause for the lightning, then I might consider some kind of magick or a god, but wouldn't automatically attribute it to the one Westboro claims to represent.
As far as the children go, I wouldn't consider them running to flamboyant men too coincidental to be of their own accord in a situation like that. There would be plenty of flamboyant men at a gay pride event, and if any of the children were to give it any thought at all, they might assume that God was telling the adults they were wrong and want to appease this God by showing him that they're really not hateful like the adults.
