Gimp, safe if obtained from gimp.org

There's a line under "GIMP for Windows" that says:
Download GIMP 2.8.10 - you may also use FTP or try the torrent.
The Gimp version (2.8.10) will change with time, and the wording of that sentence may also change, but as of this post, Windows users can click on the first link in that sentence for a hassle-free installation.
Some people have downloaded Gimp from other sites, and those other sites have added malware to it, so make sure you only download it from Gimp.org, and nowhere else.
Gimp is the program that I use for all my graphics editing, and it's free.
