Using Photofiltre
Hi everyone! I am new here!
OK so I downloaded the Photofiltre installment and when I start the program I'm stuck. I am pretty sure that since I saved the image I'm working with that I should hit "file" but when I go in there I'm lost as I have no idea which button to go to next
Here is the image if that helps:

Re: Using Photofiltre
Hi, Brian!
I have never used Photofiltre, but there seems to be a trend in some prograns to have an "export" function rather than "save".
I think Pastor Rick has used Photofiltre, so I'll send him a link to this topic and see if he can help. If you ever need help with Gimp, I can certainly help you with that.

Re: Using Photofiltre
Hi there,
Are you trying to open the file or do something with the file you already have open?
To save some time I'll give answers to both.
In PhotoFiltre v6 and v7 when you start the program you have three choices at the start.
Goto the "File" selection first and click on it.
You have the choice there to start a "New" project, or "Open" a existing project, or, if you can pick from any one of your last 10 projects by clicking on the "Recent Files" selection.
"New" gives you a totally blank canvas.
"Open" and "Recent" both open the picture file you select on the editing screen for you to play with.

Re: Using Photofiltre
No troubles, happy to be of some help.
In PhotoFiltre I always zoom in as much as I can (enlarging the picture view) when working on a project so I can see tiny details better. Enlarging the view only effects what I see (there is a white box under the PhotoFiltre name with the most often used zoom selections in a pull down menu). Always use that selection unless you are wanting to actually change to size of the picture.
