I personally prefer ImageShack because they allow more space and bandwidth, and their servers don't go down as much as Photobucket. ImageShack also creates thumbnails for images, and generates code so you can use the thumbnail to link from your post to the original, larger image. This is wonderful for dialup users, who sometimes have to wait several minutes for each large image to load. All you need to register with ImageShack is an email account. Click here to register, and they will send you a login link. Keep that login link, because it's the only way you will get into your account later. You can simply save the email it came in, or if you're the only person who uses your computer, you can bookmark the link.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Lesigner Girl)Tue, 15 Nov 2005 09:59:38 +0000 Reply #3https://billusia.runboard.com/p52,from=rss#post52https://billusia.runboard.com/p52,from=rss#post52Login and/or Registration Problems Login Problems: If you used a space in your username when signing up, you must type in that space when signing in. Upper/lower case does not matter, but you must use the same characters & spaces that you originally signed up with. If you can't remember your password, use the forgot password form to have it sent to you via email. If you still have trouble logging in, try deleting your cookies and temporary internet files, then try to log in again. Also, make sure cookies are enabled, because you need them to stay logged in. Trouble receiving Registration Email: • Make sure you saw the "congratulations" screen after submitting the registration form. If you made an error on the form (example: email address wasn't the same in both fields), you might have received an error message instead, which means it didn't go through. • Check your email account's junk/bulk/spam folder. It might have been routed there. For good measure, you should add the runboard.com domain to your safe list, to make sure runboard emails go to your inbox. • If you use an email account that is provided by AOL or Verizon (there could be other providers with this problem), your email provider probably blocked your validation email. If your validation email is blocked by your email service provider, simply re-register using an email address that is not provided by AOL or Verizon. Since no name is "taken" until the validation link is clicked on, you may use the same name you previously tried to register with, as long as it isn't already taken by somebody else on the runboard system.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Lesigner Girl)Tue, 15 Nov 2005 09:51:37 +0000 Reply #2https://billusia.runboard.com/p51,from=rss#post51https://billusia.runboard.com/p51,from=rss#post51User Account Controls: The following can be accessed through your Control Panel... To help you find your way back here in the future, you can put this board in your Runboard favorites by using either of the following two URL's: com5.runboard.com/billusia or billusia.runboard.com The second URL is easier to remember, and will automatically redirect you to the first URL. This is not a bug!nondisclosed_email@example.com (Lesigner Girl)Tue, 15 Nov 2005 09:46:13 +0000 Reply #1https://billusia.runboard.com/p50,from=rss#post50https://billusia.runboard.com/p50,from=rss#post50According to Runboard Policy, you must be at least 18 years old to register an account, or at least 13 years old with written parental permission. How to gain membership here: Before you proceed, it is best if you have an email account that is not hosted by AOL or Verizon. AOL and Verizon have a tendency to block legitimate (wanted) emails, which means you may not receive the validation link necessary to activate your account. Yahoo and Hotmail provide free email accounts that you may use for this purpose. If you don't already have a Runboard account, you can register here. The first half of the form is mandatory, but the second half is purely voluntary and not necessary. Read the Terms of Service and then check the box that says you have done so. If you do not want to receive newsletters from Runboard or its sponsors, you need to un-check the two checkboxes at the bottom before clicking on the "Create my account" button. After submitting the registration form, make sure you get the "congratulations" message and not an error message. Don't just assume that you were successfully registered when there might have been a mistake made on the form. After you successfully create your account, an email will be sent to the address that you used in the form. This email will contain a validation link that you will need to click on before you can use your Runboard account. Once you activate your account, you can change your password (recommended), then proceed to this board (http://billusia.runboard.com). If you don't receive your validation link, see reply #3 below, under "registration problems." Currently, membership is open to anyone with a Global Runboard account. All you have to do is register an account and post. Anyone posting here for the sole purpose of spamming will be reported, and their post(s) will be hidden and preserved as evidence immediately upon discovery. Don't even try to hide behind a proxy, because it ain't gonna work. How to post It's pretty self-explanatory, but here it is anyway... To start a new thread, click on the "Post new topic" link. To reply to an existing thread, click on the "Add Reply" link at the bottom of the page, or on any "Reply" link in the left margin. To quote a post in a reply, click on the "Quote" link in the left margin, next to the post you want to quote. If you are only interested in responding to one portion of the post, feel free to delete the parts you are not responding to. -- Alternately, you may simply use the [quote][/quote] code around the portion you are quoting, while making a reply. Posting tools: When you see two buttons with the same word on them, for example [big] and [/big], that means that you need to start it (in this case, big text) with [big] and end with [/big]. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Lesigner Girl)Tue, 15 Nov 2005 09:42:20 +0000 FAQ ~ Read this before asking!https://billusia.runboard.com/p49,from=rss#post49https://billusia.runboard.com/p49,from=rss#post49Here you will find the following information: Reply #1: • How to obtain membership here • How to post Reply #2: • Change your password • Change your registration information • Favorites List • User Blogs • Avatar, signature, etc. - SEE: Misc.
