Hang on just a sec... I am doing a screen capture of the surrounding "real estate" so you can see the effect.
It doesn't match totally but it looks like it could (border 1px solid #000000)...

Re: How do you make a smooth tiled image?
So, the bit surrounding the mystery man is not the background but a surrounding image and part of the side bar?

Re: How do you make a smooth tiled image?
I took the screenshots with the tiled background in both the sidebar and the container that holds the board showing (you can see the little black gutter that separates the sidebar and the boards container).
I think it would be really cool if the image with the mystery man had a background that came close to matching the background.
It is probably to much for me to expect the tiled background to match between the sidebar and the container though.

Re: How do you make a smooth tiled image?
Is it a constant height from the top of the sidebar to the bottom of the mystery man or is the sidebar set to grow with additional links? If it grows, it might just look better as solid black behind the picture. Even if you get a good match right now, as the sidebar grows, it will go off.

Re: How do you make a smooth tiled image?
The sidebar and navigation window is fixed. The only thing that scrolls is the actual board container. I am still working on it but the board site is here if you want to look at it (it works in the PC version of Flock) so it should be fine on your side (I hope)...

Re: How do you make a smooth tiled image?
I see the sidebar background is fixed but does the content window lengthen as needed along with the "Best Viewed" note?

No, the bars labeled as Murder, Mystery and Suspense slide down to reveal the links under each category so the navigation window itself remains the same size that you see.

I don't see the "best viewed" note unless I F11.
Nice board, and nifty menu.
