Re: Halliburton, dead fish in Ohio, factcheck
I'll have to throw my Finland aspect on that.
I'm quite happy with our Green Party. They've grown steadily, between 1983-2015 parliamentary elections to 8.5% (now holding 15 of 200 seats). Most remarkable thing was that their candidate - who is gay, btw - was second in 2012 presidential election, with 37.4% support on second round.
Only thing I generally disagree with our Greens is that I'm for nuclear power.

Sorry for my absence, K. I haven't felt like doing much this week.
Are you saying you believe nuclear power is better than solar, wind, and water?

I believe nuclear power is a necessary evil, the best temporary solution until we come up with something better. We can't reach needed production without it.
I'm certain that global energy needs will keep growing exponentially, not just due current technologies spreading to developing world but also new technologies emerging in first world.
Ensuring availability of energy is of importance second only to water and food.

I'm not an expert, but I agree. It does appear to me that nuclear is much cleaner than coal or gas until we can meet our energy needs with clean renewable energy.
